We're taking on walk for wishes!
When I first heard about the Walk for Wishes challenge, I knew I wanted to take part.
My goal throughout June is to complete at least one mile of activity every day. Some days I'll be walking, but I'm also hoping to run, cycle, kayak and find lots of different ways to reach my daily mile.
I'm looking forward to seeing how many miles I can complete by the end of the month and sharing my progress along the way.
Although a mile might not sound very far, every mile completed is helping to raise awareness and support for Make-A-Wish UK. Knowing that my challenge could help bring a smile to a child or family makes every step worth it.
I'll be posting updates throughout June, so keep an eye on this page to see how I'm getting on.

My Walk for Wishes Challenge

This June, I am taking part in the Walk for Wishes challenge to help raise money for Make-A-Wish UK.
Make-A-Wish UK helps grant special wishes for children living with critical illnesses. When a child is very poorly, they can spend a lot of time in hospital having treatments and missing out on things many children enjoy, such as spending time with friends, playing, exploring and simply being a child.
To support this amazing charity, I am challenging myself to complete at least one mile of activity every day throughout June. Some days I will be walking, but I will also be running, cycling, kayaking and finding other fun ways to complete my mile.
Every step, pedal and paddle will remind me why I am doing this. I hope that by taking on this challenge, I can help raise money and awareness so that more wishes can come true for children and their families.
A wish can bring happiness, excitement and hope during a difficult time. It can create special memories that families will treasure forever.
