We're taking on walk for wishes!

This June we are taking on the walk for wishes kids challenge to raise money for Make-A-Wish UK! 

Make-A-Wish UK grant life-changing wishes for thousands of critically ill children across the UK. Sadly, the number of wish enquiries from seriously ill children with less than a year to live is rising fast.

They need help to meet this urgent demand now - before it’s too late. For families with critically ill children, every day counts.

Your support has the power to make a wish come true for a critically ill child, allowing families to create lasting memories that they will treasure forever – no matter what the future holds.

Fred & Floss Walk for Wishes

Sunday 17th May

This June, Fred and Floss are putting on their trainers (and probably a few superhero capes too!) to take part in the amazing Make-A-Wish Foundation challenge — completing 1 mile a day for 30 days to help grant wishes for seriously ill children.

Fred is 5, Flossy is 3, and together they are ready to walk, hop, skip, jump, scoot, ride and wobble their way through June one mile at a time!

Some days may be speedy…
Some days may involve ice cream stops…
And some days may involve dramatic toddler negotiations… but they are determined to do their best for such a wonderful cause.

As many of you know, little Flossy is currently awaiting an operation, so there may be times when she needs to pause her challenge while she recovers. But don’t worry — she fully intends to get back to it as soon as she’s feeling stronger… and if not, she’s more than happy to be wheeled around in style while supervising Fred from the comfort of a pushchair!

We would be so grateful for any sponsorship, big or small, to support this truly worthy charity and help make wishes come true for children who need a little magic.
