We are heartbroken to share the passing of beloved Thel. For nearly 40 years, Thel and I were the heart and soul of the Make-A-Wish UK community – dedicating our lives to bringing hope, strength, and joy to children facing unimaginable challenges.
From the moment Thel joined Make-A-Wish in 1987, her warmth and selflessness touched the lives of hundreds of families. With over 250 Wish Visits, tireless fundraising, and a deep, quiet compassion, she helped make magic real for so many. Her legacy of love and generosity continues to inspire us all.
This page is a tribute to Thel – a way for us to honour her memory and continue the work she held so dear. All donations will go toward granting wishes in Thel’s name, ensuring that her beautiful spirit lives on in every smile, every moment of joy, and every wish fulfilled.
