🏋️♂️ I’m Taking on HYROX Birmingham for Make-A-Wish
On October 25th, I’ll be stepping onto the HYROX competition floor in Birmingham — not just to test my limits, but to help make real-life magic happen for children who truly deserve it.
I'm not one to take the easy option and will be competing in the HYROX Doubles Pro category, joined by friend and former rugby teammate, Greg. So yes, expect sweat, struggle, some questionable team tactics... and hopefully a strong finish!
What Is HYROX?
For those wondering, HYROX is basically a fitness suffer-fest disguised as a sporting event. It’s 8 x 1km runs, each followed by a brutal workout station — including sled pushes, rowing, burpee broad jumps, and more.
It’s intense. It’s exhausting. And it’s exactly the kind of challenge that reminds us why we’re doing it: for the kids who face far harder challenges every day.
