We're taking on walk for wishes!
This June we are taking on the walk for wishes kids challenge to raise money for Make-A-Wish UK!Make-A-Wish UK grant life-changing wishes for thousands of critically ill children across the UK. Sadly, the number of wish enquiries from seriously ill children with less than a year to live is rising fast.
They need help to meet this urgent demand now - before it’s too late. For families with critically ill children, every day counts.
Your support has the power to make a wish come true for a critically ill child, allowing families to create lasting memories that they will treasure forever – no matter what the future holds.

Tuesday 30th Jun Almost there.... whatever ammount we manage to fundraise, I hope it helps a bit to those criticaly ill children. 💙💚Thinking of my cousin's daughter and her chemothrapy- at the age if 3 years old.

This week 🥵
Saturday 27th Jun This week, oh my! ... The heat was something 🥵 ....it might have slowed me down, but didn't stop me! 🍀 we had fewer walks with my daughter (13), but I still did my walks between jobs (hmm ...should start tallying it up). Wish I had a t-shirt to wear too, to promote this cause more.Children don't deserve to be sick, let alone seriously/ critically ill 💔 ... it's every parent's worst nightmare.
I have to think of my cousin, and her (now 3 year old) daughter Zoe, going through chemotherapy for leukemia ❤💔
Please, support this charity, so they can 'grant wishes' to those seriously ill children- before it's too late for some of them... 💔🍀

Fri 12- Sun 14th June
Sunday 14th Jun Friday was busy, between me & my daughter, we did over 3miles in 2 places 😉 Saturday, we went shopping to a big shopping centre out of town, walking between connecting buses ( did just over a mile), Sunday.... Hove Park!🙂 lovely walk around the whole park, 1.59 mile. Some photos here (for some reason they end up on their sides?!), rest (normal side up) & videos are on Facebook... big shout to everyone who's walking for sick children ❤ Share

Monday 8th Jun Day 7walking a mile a day for "Make a wish" charity.
Went to a park to have a nice, quiet walk, only to disvover there was a 'Family Funfaire', with classic cars, and several charity fundrisers... 😜
Never mind them, me & my daughter are trying to rise money for seriously ill children ❤

Sunday 7th Jun Rainy day, got a drizzled on a bit in the afternoon, but had a lovely evening walk without rain.I am proud of my daughter for doing this with me, and we are sending our love to those parents who have to see their children get ill. It's heartbreaking.

Thursday 4th Jun This month, me and my teenage daughter are walking a mile a day for "Make a wish" charity. They support critically ill children. I found out about it last month, while doing another fundriser, and signed up straight away- thinking about my cousin's little girl, Zoe. She was recently diagnosed with leukemia at the age of just 2. 💙
