With a firm belief that every person and community should have access to the best possible care, Getinge provides hospitals and life science institutions with products and solutions aiming to improve clinical results and optimise workflows. The offering includes products and solutions for intensive care, cardiovascular procedures, operating theatres, sterile reprocessing and life science. We are proudly supporting Make-A-Wish UK as our Charity of the year, help us raise funds to grant magical wishes for children living with critical illnesses.

George's wish

Born with half a working heart, George has faced three life-saving operations. But when asked what his one true wish would be, there was no hesitation—he wanted to be a Ghostbuster. From riding in an Ecto-1 car to going on a ghost hunt, his wish gave him an imaginative escape into a world where heroes are brave and different—just like him. "When I first watched Ghostbusters, it turned my whole entire life upside down—and it made it completely happy," he said. His wish was more than just a fun experience; it was a powerful reminder of everything he can do.
